Christos Christakis, P.E (610) 701-1323
With dual professional degrees (masters) in Structural Engineering and Architecture and over 25 years of experience in Building Design, Project and Construction Management, Mr. Christakis has a unique set of abilities as a building designer and construction manager. After his college education, Mr. Christakis worked for several Engineering and Architectural companies in Pennsylvania and Ohio. In 1987, he co-founded Christakis and Kachele - Structural Engineers, which became CVM Engineers in 1995. In 1995, he also co-founded CVM Construction, to perform design & build work. Until 2010 when he left CVM, Mr. Christakis was the chairman and managing principal of CVM Affiliates, Inc., the parent company of CVM Engineers & CVM Construction.
In 2010, Mr. Christakis formed The Christakis Company LLC, to provide engineering design and project management, to commercial, industrial and residential clients. Some of his long time clients are: Wells Fargo Center , Comcast Spectacore, Wawa, AT&T, Astra foods, and others.
Mr. Christakis has designed and or managed a variety of significant projects for commercial, industrial, residential and institutional clients. He has a 30 hour OSHA safety certification and also taught college level courses in engineering and construction management. Mr. Christakis is a past president of the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers (DVASE). He is a registered Professional Engineer in several States.
